The Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD) web site is designed for ease of use. The site has been developed so that no additional software components are needed (for example, plugins). It has been optimized and developed to load quickly.
Users may find this site more useful with some additional features:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (browser plugin). Some downloadable documents on this site are offered in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF). This format is designed to allow easy transfer and printing of text documents. You can get the most recent Acrobat Reader plugin at Adobe.com.
- Microsoft Word: Some downloadable documents on this site are also offered as Microsoft Word Documents (DOC). This format, while not universal, can be opened by several different applications including Microsoft Word.
- Your Web Browser. This site has been optimized for use with Microsoft Explorer 5 or newer, Netscape 6 or newer, Opera 6 or newer, and Mozilla. Other browsers may display information incorrectly. It is recommended that you upgrade if possible.
