Date: Wednesday, November 29, 2006
Time: 11.30am-12.30pm
Venue: Calder Lounge, 1/F Uris Hall

Mr. Santiago Montoya has served as Secretary of the Buenos Aires Province Department of Public Revenue since 2001, starting at the time when President Fernando De la Rua resigned. Under his leadership, the provincial tax authority instituted tax policies that ultimately facilitated financial recovery. These policies have sparked much debate in domestic and international media about the role of provincial and national tax systems. During his visit to NYC with colleagues from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Economy, Mr. Montoya will address this debate as well as other aspects of tax reform in Argentina.

Refreshments will be served; all interested parties are welcome!
