Welcome to the Initiative for Policy Dialogue's Resource Guide for our current and future funders. IPD is a non-profit organization and all of our work is made possible by grants and other funding. This guide will help you navigate our website and see the remarkable ways our financial resources are put to use.
Firstly, find out about us: our mission, our history, and the IPD team. At the core of IPD's groundbreaking work are our programs and publications. See our Programs Guide to find out about IPD's innovative programs like multistakeholder Country Dialogues and Task Forces made up of experts from around the world; these are concrete steps towards building a globally informed and recognized discourse on economic policy in developing countries.
The Publications Guide contains information on IPD books. These much-needed publications are written in non-partisan, easily accessible language, and equip policymakers, and other stakeholders, with the tools to make informed decisions. IPD's materials in conjunction with our economic reporting journalism training are making economic issues and options more accessible than ever.
In addition, visit the News/Opinions page to consider IPD-related news items and IPD experts' opinions on the latest developments in global economics.
Below are links to these and other useful resources.
IPD is always looking for interesting ways to collaborate with other NGOs. Please contact us to explore ways for our organizations to work together.

| Task Forces |
|
The Task Forces serve to provide the information needed to expand the discussion on economic policy in developing countries. Without pushing for any specific policy solution, the task forces present policymakers with a complete understanding of the economic situation and alternative policies needed to generate a competent policy.

| Journalism Program |
|
This program is aimed at helping reporters cover finance and economics in developing countries. We have prepared material on how to cover important topics, from banking crises to privatization. IPD's Journalism Primer publishes both Backgrounders and Case Studies. In our workshops Journalists learn from experts in these areas, including academics, World Bank officials and NGO representatives. They also receive training in critical and analytic journalism, reporting fairly on diverse views, investigative reporting, and computer research skills from experienced journalists.
