As Columbia Student Investment Management Association, one of the largest clubs at Columbia Business School with approximately 600 members, we are dedicated to the education and career development of students with an interest in the investment industry. Our club is the focal point of contact for mutual funds, hedge funds, private wealth management, and other investment managers seeking interaction with Columbia Business School students. Our primary activities for this year include hosting the largest and most successful student investment management conference in the nation, sponsoring guest lectures from renowned industry practitioners, organizing stock-picking contests that enhance the investing acumen of our members, publishing the Graham & Dodd Newsletter, visiting investment firms in Boston and elsewhere, assisting our fellow members with the recruiting process, and organizing social events to give back to our community.

We are dedicated to continuing in the tradition of value investing at Columbia Business School which began with Benjamin Graham teaching his first class on campus. Throughout the decades, numerous high profile investors have benefited from the value-based framework taught here at CBS. Through the dedication of the Heilbrunn Center for Graham & Dodd Investing, students now benefit from the unique Value Investing Program, whose instructors are among the most respected investors. The club will continue to work closely with the Heilbrunn Center on many of the club's activities.

Along with all our officers, we look forward to contributing to a successful year for the Columbia Student Investment Management Association, the Heilbrunn Center, and CBS.
