Tanya Styblo Beder
Prior to her senior roles in the hedge fund industry, Ms. Beder founded two consulting firms specializing in risk measurement, risk oversight, capital markets and derivatives - Capital Market Risk Advisors in 1994 and SB Consulting Corp. in 1987. Prior to this, she was a Vice President of The First Boston Corporation where she started her career in mergers and acquisitions and was a consultant in the financial institutions practice at McKinsey & Company. In the financial industry Ms. Beder is on the Board of Directors of OpHedge Investment Services, is a Risk Management Advisor to the LongChamp Group Inc., and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Financial Engineers where she co-chairs The Investor Risk Committee. In academia she serves on the Advisory Board of Columbia University's Financial Engineering Program and is an appointed Fellow of the International Center for Finance at Yale. Euromoney named Ms. Beder as one of the top 50 women in finance around the world. Ms. Beder holds a M.B.A. in finance from Harvard University and a B.A. in mathematics from Yale University. |
Tanya Styblo Beder has built three businesses during her 20 year career in the global capital markets. In 2004 Ms. Beder designed and built as its CEO Tribeca Global Management LLC, Citigroup's flagship $2.6 billion dollar multi-strategy hedge fund with operations in Singapore, London and New York. In 1999 Ms. Beder built the Strategic Quantitative Investment Division ("SQID") of Caxton Associates LLC, a $10 billion investment management firm located in New York City.
