Toby Boshak has been the Executive Director of the Princess Grace Foundation-USA since 1996. In this capacity, Ms. Boshak works closely with the Board of Trustees and the Arts Advisory Board to fulfill the mission of this public charity: to support emerging artists in theater, dance, and film. During her tenure, Ms. Boshak has tripled the amount of money given to artists annually, introduced new opportunities for funding, doubled the staff of the organization, and garnered significant support from individuals, corporations, and celebrities.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Boshak served as the Director of Institutional Support at New York City Ballet where she was responsible for all corporate, foundation, and government fund raising activity. Her previous non-profit experience includes serving as the Associate Director of Development for the Bronx Museum of the Arts and conducting independent marketing studies and organizational analyses for the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of the City of New York, and the American Craft Museum.
In addition to her position with the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, Ms. Boshak is on the Boards of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (assistant treasurer, co-chair of National Philanthropy Day 2009, and co-chair Fund Raising Day in New York career services 2000-2009), Ensemble21, a contemporary music group, and PS 158 Parents’ Association. Ms. Boshak holds a B.A. from Brandeis University in painting and mathematics and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, with a focus on non-profit management and marketing. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
