The Columbia Women in Business Scholarship

In 2006, CWIB established a new scholarship - the Columbia Women in Business Scholarship at Columbia Business School. The purpose of the CWIB Scholarship is to provide financial support to a talented female student who embodies the spirit of community and strong leadership that the CWIB organization upholds. The CWIB Scholarship is complementary to CWIB's mission to provide women with resources that will aid them in their professional careers, and to promote the role of, and opportunities for, women in business. The scholarship also enhances the school's position as the premier business school for women and the top choice for companies recruiting women.

Your kind donation will ensure that the Columbia Women in Business Scholarship is established in perpetuity to the benefit of future Columbia alumnae. We encourage and appreciate your support in helping us reach this goal. Your tax deductible gift will help support this important scholarship.

Can I make a gift to the CWIB Scholarship via check?
Yes, checks should be made payable to Columbia Business School. Please complete a donation form with your information and submit it with your check so that we are able to send you an acknowledgement letter and tax receipt.

Is my donation to the CWIB Scholarship tax deductible?
Yes, donations are tax deductible as no goods or services will be provided in exchange for the donation by the school. The entire amount of the donation will go towards the CWIB Scholarship.

How and when will I receive my tax receipt for my contribution to the CWIB Scholarship?
Columbia University will send official tax receipts within fifteen business days of the receipt of funds.

No, the total amount of the contribution will be deposited into the CWIB Scholarship fund.
