About Us
Mission
The Equity Research Club serves first- and second-year
students exploring careers in equity research. We offer résumé reviews,
mentoring, stock pitch practice and other industry-related guidance,
information and support. The club also puplishes a résumé book that we
distribute to recruiters at the top sell-side firms. We recommend that
students interested in research join both the Equity Research Club and the
Investment Management Club to best understand how the buy- and sell-sides
work together.
About the Club
The club engages in several key activities to promote the interests and
professional development of its members:
- Event Planning
The Equity Research Club works in conjunction with major investment
banks to plan events and presentations for its members. Please see the Events
section for more information.
- Resume Books
The club compiles a 1st year and a 2nd year resume book for electronic
distribution to interested equity research recruiters. Please see the Resume
Book section for more information.
- Workshops
The club works with NYSSA (New York Society of Security Analysts) to
provide presentations on campus for stock research. Please see the
Events
section for more information.
- Mentoring
The club's can pair up 2nd year students who have prior experience in
equity research (through their pre-business school careers or their
summer internships) with 1st year students interested in pursuing equity
