Saifedean Ammous

Saifedean Ammous is a final-year candidate for a PhD in Sustainable Development from Columbia University.  Ammous' doctorate is entitled The Science, Policy and Politics of Alternative Energy: Biofuels as a Case Study.  Ammous's research aims at examining the process of policy-making on alternative energy and the environment
from a multi-disciplinary approach, with a special focus on the limitations of our knowledge and what implications they imply.

Ammous holds a Master's degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
