Jonathan Fahey

Associate Editor, Forbes Magazine

Jonathan Fahey is an Associate Editor for Forbes magazine, based in New York.  He joined Forbes in September 2000 and now covers science, technology and energy for the magazine. He also writes a weekly science column for Forbes.com. He was named a Knight Science and Technology Journalism Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for 2007-2008.

 Prior to joining Forbes, Jonathan was a staff writer for The Concord (New Hampshire) Monitor, covering local news, business and the New Hampshire presidential primary. He has also been an editorial assistant and freelance reporter for The New York Times, and a senior consultant for Peterson Consulting’s intellectual property group, valuing intangible assets in patent disputes and negotiations. 

 Jonathan has a BA from Connecticut College.
