We all came to CBS for many unique reasons. However, one thing we all have in common is that we are here to learn – and that is why I am excited to serve as your VP of Academics. My responsibilities include chairing the Student Faculty Academic Affairs Committee, supporting First-Year Academic Reps as their clusters navigate the core courses, and working with the Faculty and Administration on all academic issues related to the student body.
This year I will also focus on enhancing students’ experience in the classroom by improving communication and feedback to professors on teaching quality and course content through various initiatives and by increasing the information available to students about electives via the CBS Course Review and by enlisting more professors to film video clips for students to view. I also plan to improve the academic experience outside the classroom by promoting the use of the Elective Faculty Access program.
Because your academic experience and the skills you learn in the classroom are a valuable part of what you will carry with you when you leave CBS, I want all of you to have the best academic experience possible.
