Welcome to the 1st Annual China Business Conference
                                       China – Opportunities in Transition

In 2007, China experienced enormous growth – $55.3 billion capital raised by 209 IPOs, a $262.2           billion trade surplus, and 11.4% GDP growth. Such amazing numbers present exciting new                       opportunities in this rapidly expanding market.

        China – Opportunities in Transition
, the 1st Annual China Business Conference hosted by the               Greater China Society and Columbia Business School, has been created to promote an exchange          of ideas amongst students and industry leaders with the purpose of enhancing entrepreneurial               thinking about China and exploring opportunities and resources available to young professionals           interested in China's booming market.

The conference brings business leaders, professionals, academics and students together and               provides a collaborative platform for participants to build networks, exchange ideas, and share                 knowledge. Welcome to Columbia University in the City of New York for this half-day exploring                   exciting opportunities in China.
