Mission
|
|
The mission of Greater China Society (GCS) is to foster a
cultural and professional community for Columbia
Business School
(CBS) students who have an interest in the Greater China region. We offer
our members professional and social opportunities, diversified cultural
experience, as well as rich resources on the region as a whole. We also
organize the highly-regarded China Study
Trip in cooperation
with Chazen Institute of
International Business.

Rebranding
efforts
|
|
To better
serve the needs of our members, we decided to initiate our rebranding
efforts in 2007. In the 2008-2009 acadmic year, we
will focus our resources on three areas: 1) Bring our members
more career events, including job opportunities in Greater China
region, events with alumni, and mentoring/training sessions.
2) Strengthen the ties between our members by holding more open and
diversified social events. 3) Increase our member base, especially
among non-Chinese students.
We
redesigned our logo and website in summer 2007 as part of the
rebranding efforts.
